We need your ideas!

Do you want to make the library an even better place for kids and teens? Come to our Teen Advisory Group meeting on Saturday, March 24 at 2 p.m. and share your ideas and opinions. We’ll be talking about a summer program called Book Buddies where TAG volunteers will read one-on-one with younger children, and we need ideas for how to make that program work in Atlantic City. We also need some creative types to decorate our teen lounge for April. As always, pizza and drinks will be served.

Geek Jewelry Making, Saturday @ 2 p.m.

NecklaceI just had so much fun making this necklace out of computer parts! The chain is made of resisters and the red dangle is an LED light. A little bending with pliers and you’ve got yourself a necklace.

Tomorrow at 2 p.m. I’ll show you techniques for making this and other types of geeked-out jewelry — all made using easy-to-find (and pretty inexpensive) computer components.

To sign up, call 609-345-2269 ext. 3050.
